The Browser Driven Loadtesting feature utilizes components and settings of Internet Explorer on the machine from which it runs.  Required proxy settings must be set within Internet Explorer's settings dialog on the agent machine itself. Access the agent machine and configure the proxy within Internet Explorer: Click TOOLS | INTERNET OPTIONS | CONNECTIONS tab Click the LAN SETTINGS button Check the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox. Enter the hostname and port for the proxy server Note Internet Explorer stored settings on a user account basis therefore it is possible to set the proxy in Internet Explorer and still find that the remote agent continues to report the BrowserNavigate(BrowserEngine: 32 - Internet Explorer request failed,  INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND (0x800c0005).) error.   This is due to the SilkPerformer replay processes launching under the SYSTEM account by default, whereas you configured the proxy using a specific user account. You must configure SilkPerformer to use the same user account.  If the same user account is used over all agents then you can use the setting: In the SilkPerformer Workbench select SETTINGS |SYSTEM | AGENT | ADVANCED tab Enter the username and password of user used to set the proxy in Internet Explorer This will result in all agents launching the replay processes under the specified User account. If different accounts are used to configure the proxy on the agent machine you will need to connect to each agent and specify the user account individually: In the SilkPerformer Workbench select TOOLS | SYSTEM CONFIGURATION MANAGER | AGENT Connect to the problematic Agent machine Select the APPLICATIONS tab and then select the corresponding version of SilkPerformer In the “Authentication” field enter the same username and password used to set the proxy in Internet Explorer Old KB# 35764 Created On:  05 April 2012
