If you have met all of the prerequisites for Mobile Browser testing in Silk Test and the Silk Test Recorder is unable to recognize any child controls, as show below: Note : The missing green circle from the bottom right of the page and the missing green rectangle highlighting the control which the mouse is hovering over Then this is an indication that Web Page is being taken from the Browser Cache instead of being routed via the Silk Test HTTP Proxy named “Silk Test Web Tunneler”. To resolve this issue, simply refresh the Browser Page within the Android device in order to force the traffic to be tunneled via the “Silk Test Web Tunneler” or clear the browser cache prior to recording. Once the issue has been resolved the Mobile Recorder will correctly inject recognition into the Android Web Browser as shown below. Note: This issue affects Silk Test 15.0 only, the next version of Silk Test will prevent the cached version of a Browser being used.
