The following information will guide you through creating a project, and monitor, which will allow you to have an e-mail sent if an error occurs. Create a new project under ADMINISTRATION | PROJECTS. Under CONFIGURATION | MONITORS select to add your new monitor, and select your uploaded Workbench project. In the monitor screen (shown below), give your monitor a meaningful name. In order to be able to drill down to find the cause of any errors which may occur, it is suggested you select to generate TrueLog On Error files. In the "Automatic Rule Management" section you should select the Availability, Accuracy and Performance checkboxes. This will automatically create the condition that if Accuracy or Availability is below 100%, or Performance is =0.0 then it will be logged that an error has occurred. If you wish to receive an e-mail that there has been an error, rather than just log it, you should first of all go to the CONDITIONS screen to ensure than you are happy with the conditions specified there. Once you have verified this, you should then go to the RULES screen, and select the monitor you wish to receive an e-mail for. You will then be given a screen similar to this: Ensure that you are happy with what is configured here, and select "NEXT". You will then see the screen below. In the "Action" section, you should select e-mail notification and select "NEXT. You will then be prompted for the e-mail address you wish to send the e-mail to, and the message you wish to enter. Before you choose to send an e-mail you should ensure that you have configured your e-mail settings in ADMINISTRATION | SYSTEM | NOTIFICATION | MAIL screen. When you have completed the steps above, you will be sent an email to let you know when the rule you specified has been violated. The e-mail will contain a link, which will bring you to the Client Health report, where you will be able to view the errors that occurred: In order to drill down to find the cause of the error, you can go to the "EXECUTION LOG" tab, and select "FILES" beside the timestamp you wish to view. You will then be given the option to download the TrueLog file, which will help you determine the cause of the error.
