This problem can arise if you have setup the Recorder to use HTTP proxy recording and then browser client is using HTTP/1.0. If there is not a specific reason for using proxy recording, then Winsock hooking should always be used. To change this setting in Silk Performer, go to SETTINGS | SYSTEM | RECORDER | APPLICATION PROFILES, then select the browser application and click Edit. In the editing window, assuming that the Web protocol is selected, click on Web Settings. The following window will appear: From here, if it is currently set to use a Proxy, ensure that the Winsock option has been selected. Your application should now record correctly. However, if you must use proxy recording rather than Winsock hooking, then the browser client must be set to use HTTP/1.1. If the client browser is Internet Explorer for example, then you can change this setting in Internet Explorer by selecting TOLS | INTERNET OPTIONS | ADVANCED TAB. Then under the HTTP 1.1 Settings header enable the "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections" option. Old KB# 17970
