The "PDCE: 701 - Query for Ltci performance counter update failed" error is reported when monitoring Oracle using v$systat if: The Oracle Client is not installed on the same machine as Silk Performer. The measure does not exist on the server. The measure name is greater that 80 characters (only valid up until Silk Performer 2006 when the character limit on measure names was increased to 256 characters). Old KB# 17423
