Wiki Page: Why do I see the error "Version 2.0 is not a compatible version" when trying to load a DLL into .NET Explorer?

This implies that the DLL was created using Microsoft's .NET Framework 2.0.  Support for .NET Framework 2.0 was introduced in Silk Performer 7.4, therefore if you are using DLLs created with .NET Framework 2.0 then you will need to use at least version 7.4 of Silk Performer. This error message can also occur if you have either not installed ".NET Framework 2.0" or if you have not specified to use this version in the "Tools | Runtime settings" menu option in the .NET Explorer. Please Note: That you must restart .NET Explorer for this change to take effect. You can verify which version of the .NET Framework is currently being used by checking "Help | About" in .NET Explorer. Old KB# 17401
