Wiki Page: Why do I see a "Cannot find dynaTrace Installation" error printed to the output pane of SilkPerformer during script execution? How do I resolve this?

This error will be raised if Silk Performer"s dynaTrace Diagnostics Plug-in is enabled... SETTINGS | SYSTEM | DYNATRACE DIAGNOSTICS PLUGIN | General tab ... but where no dynaTrace Client is installed on your Silk Performer machine. The actual resolution depends on which of the following two scenarios applies to your case. (a) If this error occurs when you are replaying a project where dynaTrace diagnostics data is to be gathered: Install a dynaTrace Client locally on your Silk Performer machine, and configure it to point towards the remote dynaTrace Server. This client is essential, as it allows Silk Performer"s dynaTrace Diagnostics Plug-in to communicate with the remote dynaTrace Server. (b) If this error occurs when you are replaying a project which DOES NOT need to gather dynaTrace diagnostics data: If no dynaTrace Diagnostic monitoring is actually required in that specific project, you could simply disable Silk Performer"s dynaTrace Diagnostics Plug-in: SETTINGS | SYSTEM | DYNATRACE DIAGNOSTICS PLUGIN | General tab Old KB# 17125
