A simple recording of SAPGUI with Silk Performer 10.0. (Please visit the site to view this video) In order to record SAPGUI, a supported SAPGUI client needs to be installed. There is a list of supported clients in the Silk Performer release notes. Before recording make sure you have selected the SAPGUI Silk Performer project type. Click Model Script, then Start recording. Silk Performer will open the SAPGUI Logon window. The available system connection entries can be pre-configured in the SAP client prior to recording. Click Log On. Enter the username and password for the SAP connection and hit the Enter button. You can now navigate around the SAP menu tree. Each action will be captured by the Silk Performer recorder. In this scenario we simply navigate to the system release notes. Once done capturing your test scenario, remember to Log off the SAP session. You can now close the Silk Performer recorder and save your script.
