Q2) Why is the license.txt file for the product VisiBroker 5.1.1 - VxWorks can be installed with the VBRT 5.2 version. Does it mean that it the 511 license.txt file can be used for VBRT5.2 as well? Q3) Why is there documentation guide for VBRT 4.1 for Tornado VxWorks, and also documentation guide for VBRT 4.1 for Multiplatform guide, but there is only VBRT 5.2 for Multiplatforms guide in our current documentation VBRT website - http://info.borland.com/techpubs/visibroker_rt/? Q4) When will the other documentation guides for VBRT 6.0 (for Tornado and MultiPlatforms) be available? Resolution: Ans 1) The only exception to this rule is that for some platforms which are no longer supported (e.g. LynxOS) we have kept those older versions of VB-RT on the system for now. Please note that in http://www.borland.com/products/downloads/download_visibroker.html, since VB-RT 6.0 is out for Tornado, VB-RT 5.2 will be removed from the download web site. We are recommending our users to use VB-RT 6.0. Since this is trial-downloads, there is really no need to have olders versions on the web site. We always want to encourage to use the latest version of the product as it contains reported and internal product testing issues fixes, plus some additional features. Ans 2) Yes. Actually VBRT 511 is a internal name we gave the product. It is really the same as VBRT 5.2. Ans 3) There will be no documentation guide for VBRT5.2 for Tornado VxWorks and only have documentation guide for VBRT 5.2 for MultiPlatforms. Since we are going to released 6.0 for Tornado VxWorks guides, we do not have plans to produce VBRT5.2 manuals. Users can refer to the 6.0 manuals. Ans 4) Currently, for the VBRT 6.0 documentation guides, http://info.borland.com/techpubs/books/visibroker_rt/pdfs/60pdf_index.html, the only available guide is VisiBroker-RT 6.0 for Monta Vista Linux Installation guide. As for the other VBRT 6.0 guides, they should be available by the second week in June 2004.
