Is the following possible via the Borland SilkCentral – IBM DOORS (requirements management) integration. . The scenairo is as follows: 1) Team A has a DOORS repository, and delivers a DOORS partition which is sent to Team B which is using SilkCentral Manager. 2) Team B creates traces from the DOORS partition which they use in their own DOORS system, and creates the traces from this specific DOORS partition which is delivered from Team A to the SilkCentral test cases in SilkCentral Test Manager. 3) A month later Team A delivers a new partition of the same project to Team B with NEW REQUİREMENTS added or newly UPDATED requirements. In this case will Team B have to re-create all traces again from the DOORS to SilkCentral, or is SilkCentral able to PRESERVE the previous DOORS partition’s traces. Our goal is to understand the dynamics of the DOORS integration and how it deals with traces when a different versions of DOORS partition is delivered.
