SilkTest Workbench will report compilation errors if you add references to .NET 4.5.1 Assemblies; because it is hard-coded to accept references to .Net Assemblies up to version 4.0 only. The client needs to maintain compatibility with Windows XP; while Microsoft does not support .NET Framework 4.5.1 on this platform. Support for .NET4.5.1 Assemblies in Workbench .Net Scripts; is therefore pending the removal of Windows XP, as a supported SilkTest platform. Only when this support is finally dropped; will Development be able to upgrade Workbench .NET scripts, and allow the inclusion of references to .NET 4.5.1 Assemblies.
