When trying to view my PDF file on TrueLog Explorer why do I get a file download box prompting me to open or save the file. As a result of this download box I can now not view the PDF file in the TrueLog Explorer as the PDF file opens in a separate window. The reason for the download dialogue box (as shown above) is that Adobe is not configured to allow you to view the pdf file in the browser (TrueLog Explorer) and therefore will open the PDF file in the Adobe application. This can be resolved by setting the option "Display PDF in browser" To enable this option please follow the appropriate steps below: Adobe reader 5.0 Edit | Preferences | Options Web Browser options "Display PDF in browser" Adobe reader 6.0 Edit | Preferences | Internet Web Browser options "Display PDF in browser" Now when you open the XLG file and select the API that displays the PDF file this will successfully load in the TrueLog Render tab and allow you to make verifications and use other TrueLog functionality.
