Wiki Page: Why do Incident alerts not clear after my system is back up?

It is possible that an alert will not clear if there has been an Execution Server crash while the Incident was raised. Once the Execution Server starts again the application will check for the Incident conditions. If these conditions no longer exist Performance Manager will think everything is OK and not close out the original Incident. In order to resolve this it is necessary to restart the Application Server. Additionally if the Execution Server was too slow in sending the results ( 15 minutes) the rule evaluation algorithm decides that they are missing and even when they come later they are ignored.
