Problem "Failed authenticode verification of payload: C:\ProgramData\PackageCache\.unverified\lmsetupx64" error during the installation of Enterprise Developer for zEnterprise 2.2 on a Windows 2008 machine. Attempting to install Enterprise Developer for Eclipse 2.2, on a Windows 2008 machine will result in the above error, if the Micro Focus publisher details for the install certificate are not recognised. Resolution The Micro Focus publisher details for the install certificate needs resolving before proceeding with the installation. The following Microsoft KB articles refer to similar issues and recommend installing the MS Root Certificate Update. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931125 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38918 After installing the Root Certificate update (rootsupd.exe) from Microsoft, it is possible to complete the installation with Micro Focus recognized as the publisher of the Enterprise Developer exe. This will work for a normal user account, as well as an account with full administrator rights.
